SupraEVM: The Core EVM-Compatible Implementation
A core component of Supra's MultiVM design is SupraEVM, the network's native EVM-compatible implementation. It was built from the ground up with performance as a core design goal. SupraEVM incorporates SupraBTM, a hybrid parallel execution engine capable of deterministic, conflict-aware scheduling. That enables significantly higher throughput and lower latency compared to other EVM chains in the industry. Developers don't need to modify their existing Solidity contracts to get the performance gains.
How SupraBTM's Performance Has Been Verified
SupraBTM has recently been benchmarked as the fastest parallel EVM executor publicly tested to date. The Grant Program for Early EVM Builders
To attract EVM talent to the Supra ecosystem, Supra opened applications for a grant program alongside the testnet launch. The program invites EVM developers seeking early access to submit their best ideas and applications. Selected projects gain access to nearly all of Supra's complete developer stack. That includes full MoveVM and EVM compatibility requiring no code changes for existing Solidity contracts, plus vertically integrated services like native oracles, deterministic verifiable randomness (dVRF), and event-driven automation.

Supra bundles services like oracle providers, randomness services, and automation tools natively into the chain itself. Developers don't need to separately integrate third-party providers for these functions. Selected grant projects gain access to unified RPC infrastructure supporting both Move and EVM environments simultaneously. That reduces the integration overhead that typically comes with building on a new chain from a cold start.
What Comes After EVM: SolanaVM Support
Beyond the current MultiVM testnet expansion, SolanaVM support is already underway. It's expected to deploy in early 2026. That would position Supra to become the first Layer 1 ever to support multiple virtual machines and execution environments from a single, unified base layer, rather than requiring separate chains or sidechains for each VM type.
This developer-focused EVM expansion follows Supra's earlier $1 million EVM Speed Challenge bounty, both reflecting the same underlying push to establish SupraBTM's performance credibility with the broader developer community.
